Right before platform

Misa wants her dress back. She's been able to rough sketch out the pattern and she's willing to put in work herself on it - and will - but she needs the fabric, and it needs to be blue.

"Kumoko, can we make blue fabric for a dress?" She shyly smooths out the picture she'd drawn of it. "I'd do most of the sewing, I just need fabric, and I ordered snacks!"

She's too lazy to go grab her speech device, so instead she just waves generally, like an empress greeting her subjects.

If the empress was a giant furry spider, and her subjects were one insanely pretty girl. Well, whatever. Another gesture towards a suitcase propped up carefully on a footstool, now labelled <3 PAY HERE <3, and she scuttles over to inspect the picture.

Wow, so she can draw and sew? Man, must be nice to be good at stuff! Just the fabric, huh? She thinks for a moment, and then begins producing small swatches of fabric from one of her pocket spaces. Blue is one of the colours she has a lot of variations of, thanks to. You know. Everyone getting shoved in hoodies. She arranges the swatches next to the drawing.

Misa plops down her packages, and then leans over the swatches. She loves that Kumoko can produce fabric. It's beautiful. And yes, she knows that there is a blue team, but this dress has to be blue!

She bites her bottom lip, inspecting them. She picks up one that's a deep sapphire color. "This one." She says, looking up at Kumoko. "Can we do about seven yards, and then thread that's one shade darker?"

She considers for about half a second, and then nods decisively. No problem, if she only has to make the fabric and not shape it, she can go faster! Now regretting not grabbing her device, she settles for spinning out a quick, 'Deal' in her old writing style. 'Tonight', she adds afterwards, calculating how long it'll take to make that much fabric. It's a platform day, right? Everyone will be busy, she won't be disturbed.

Well, apart from the people who show up like "kyaaaa, a huge spider! taste my blade!" but she's gotten pretty good at ignoring those.

Misa squeals in delight and hugs the giant spider. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She says, utterly delighted. She's going to have fabric for her dress!

That'll be perfect.

"I'll get you some extra snacks, when I have points again, okay?"

She, predictably, goes entirely still as Misa's arms wrap around her neck. A... a... a... is this, is this a hug? That fabled embrace between friends! Isn't it uncomfortable? Or scary? Well, she's pretty fluffy nowadays, so maybe not, but.

But still!

It's only habit that has her weakly weave a little thumbs-up emoji at the end of her thread. And then... pat the girl's shoulder? That's what you do with a hug, right? Just a little pat.

Ah, feels nice, actually.

Misa hugs her tight and then, lets her go. "Thanks Kumoko. You're the best!"

Then the announcement comes over the speaker. "Okay, I'm going to go check out the new people. Do you need anything?"

Still voiceless, she just waves a negative. She'll go get food while everyone is distracted, so really Misa is already going to be contributing by keeping them all out of the kitchen.

Emboldened, she pats Misa again, furred foot brushing against her hair for a second or so.

She smiles. Then, she pats the foot and turns in a flurry of energy. She's getting her fabric, her peaches, and eventually, her dress. This day is awesome.

"Oh!" She stops before leaving. "Thank you, again, Kumoko. You're the best." She says before disappearing out the door.
